Developing and Nurturing Customers at EXPO TRANSPORTE Argentina 2026

2026-10-20

A Case Study by Qingyuan Radia Trading Co., Ltd.  |  Booth 4618, Buenos Aires

1.  The Backdrop: Why Buenos Aires, Why Now

From August 11 to 13, 2026, Qingyuan Radia Trading Co., Ltd. (Radia) took part in the 14th EXPO TRANSPORTE Argentina at the La Rural Exhibition Center in Buenos Aires, where the commercial vehicle show ran side by side with the 16th EXPO LOGISTI-K. As the largest commercial vehicle exhibition in Argentina and a true trendsetter for the South American sector, EXPO TRANSPORTE attracts fleet operators, distributors and industry peers not only from Argentina but also from neighboring markets such as Chile and Peru — precisely the audience Radia wanted to reach.

Radia is the international trade arm of Guangdong Xin Tongshi Group, a high-tech manufacturer with more than 20 years of R&D and production experience in automotive refrigeration systems. Established in 2010, Radia exports to more than 120 countries, covers over 18,000 vehicle models, and its sales network spans more than 220 countries and regions worldwide. For Radia, the show in Buenos Aires was not a three-day display of products. It was the first face-to-face chapter of a long-term customer development story in South America — one that only begins when the exhibition ends.

2.  Before the Show: Turning an Invitation into a Pipeline

Customer development in a new market starts long before the hall opens. Weeks ahead of the show, Radia sent out an invitation carrying the TONGSHI brand: a bilingual poster with the company name, booth number 4618, the show dates (August 11–13, 2026), the venue (La Rural Trade Center, Buenos Aires), the official website, the Made-in-China store and a QR code. The invitation went to existing partners and prospective buyers across Argentina and the wider region, so that every visitor who arrived with it was already a warmed-up, pre-qualified lead.

The booth itself was prepared as a self-selling argument. Radia brought a comprehensive cooling range for commercial vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, buses and construction machinery — radiators, intercoolers and charge air coolers, condensers, evaporators, oil coolers, heaters and motorcycle radiators, together with electric fans, compressors and control arms. Bilingual posters mapped every product family, and physical samples stood on the counters so visitors could see and handle exactly what they would buy. Beside the samples, posters of the factory's quality-test stations — vacuum, air-tightness, water-leak, helium-leak, pressure-cycle, electric-vibration and internal-tension testing — answered in advance the question every serious buyer asks: can you really hold the quality you promise?

3.  At the Show: Customer Development

At the show, Radia's customer development followed one simple logic: identify, qualify, prove, record.

Identify. The three-person Radia team, in professional attire and wearing exhibition badges, welcomed every visitor to Booth 4618. The red fascia reading “4618 — Qingyuan Radia Trading Co., Ltd.” made the booth easy to find, while the white meeting table and printed brochures gave every conversation room to breathe.

Qualify. In each conversation, the team first understood the buyer's business: distributor, wholesaler, repair shop or fleet operator; which trucks, buses or machines they service; which models and annual volumes they need. A random visitor became a customer profile in ten minutes.

Prove. Instead of reciting features, the team pointed at the samples and the test-process posters — how each radiator and condenser is checked before shipment — and at the group's 20-plus years of manufacturing experience. Proof, not promises, is what moved conversations from “interesting” to “let us talk numbers.”

Record. Every business card, QR-code scan and catalogue was matched with written notes: the contact person, vehicle applications, models discussed and the next step agreed. A lead that is not recorded is a lead that is lost.

Radia also used the hall as a market classroom. Walking the aisles — including visits to neighboring booths and the foreign-trade meetings organized alongside the show — gave the team a read on which local brands, distributors and fleets matter in Argentina and which product gaps remain. That market intelligence went straight into the follow-up plan.

4.  After the Show: Customer Nurturing and Maintenance

For Radia, the exhibition is the first contact, not the last. Customer maintenance began within 24 to 48 hours after the show closed, following four disciplines:

Thank and recap. Every booth visitor received a personal message that recapped the conversation at Booth 4618 — the applications they serve, the products they examined — together with the matching catalogue pages and specification sheets. A follow-up that remembers the conversation proves that the visitor was heard.

Quote with context. Quotations were matched to the buyer's vehicles and applications instead of being cut from a generic price list. For prospects still comparing options, Radia offered samples and the supporting quality-test records, so the evidence seen in Buenos Aires could be verified in their own workshop.

Keep a nurturing rhythm. The sales team kept a regular cadence of touchpoints: seasonal maintenance reminders for cooling systems, notifications of new models and new-energy solutions, catalogue and price updates, and market information relevant to South American fleets. The goal is simple: be the first name a buyer thinks of when a truck needs a new radiator.

Close the service loop. Behind the quotation stands a professional after-sales team, a strict quality-control system and the ability to customize heat-transfer solutions. Every offer is backed by the commitment that the product will perform — and that Radia will still answer when the order is done, not only before it.

This is the essence of customer maintenance: the booth conversation becomes a relationship. Each business card collected in Buenos Aires became a row in the customer pipeline, and each follow-up turned a lead into a returning customer who trusts the Radia name.
